Polish Outreach Officer
Do you want to join a fast-paced social impact start-up? Do you want access to a network of like-minded, inspiring students across the globe?
We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic and outgoing individual to help recruit even more talented, passionate mentees and mentors for Project Access. As the Outreach Officer, your main responsibilities will include reaching out to high schools across Poland and Polish student societies to promote Project Access.
Responsibilities include:
Build lasting collaborations with schools, charities, Polish societies, and other organisations to promote Project Access. This includes proactively approaching organisations that promise fruitful partnerships for Project Access.
Work closely with the Mentorship Programs and Campus Teams to ensure that our mentee recruitment is aligned with a) the support we provide on our mentorship programs, and b) the mentors we have available.
Participation in selected conferences and events to promote PA among Polish students of foreign universities.
Contribute to building our outreach strategy. In particular, we want to reach more underprivileged high schoolers and undergraduates when advertising our annual bootcamp and webinars.
The ideal applicant is:
Passionate - we are looking for someone who really cares about access to education and is willing to dedicate their time to making a genuine impact.
Engaged in promoting the Polish students diaspora during conferences and events, such as Poland 2.0.
Has links to and/or deeper knowledge of Polish scholarship foundations or initiatives for equal opportunity in higher education.
Open minded and friendly - we value teamwork and want everyone on the team to feel like a part of the PA community!
This volunteer role would vary in time commitment, however, on average, you will need to commit 5-7 effective hours per week (flexible in exam periods and other stressful times).
If you have any questions or want to hear more about the role, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Adam, from PA Poland, adam.wrona@projectaccess.org.
